Weekly topics by grade level:

Kindergarten: Read together Sam and Papa, look for the words It and like, practice letters m, b, s, f.

Grade 2: Group A books include-Meli at the Vet, Kittens, and Little Bat. Skills include opposites, adding s and ing to base words and two sounds for y.
Group B books The Red Pajamas, Taking Care of Meli, and The Cold. Skills include, beginning blends sl, cl and fl. We are also working on how base words change when we add ing.

Grade 3: Group A books include-The Fox and the Gulls, Puddle Play and A Dragon's Lullaby. Skills include how many syllables we hear in words and writing summaries.
Group B books include-A biography on Eugenie Clark and a fun fiction story, The Pirates. Our skills practice also includes syllable work and writing summaries.

Grade 4: Both Groups will be having DRA assessments.
